UDHAMPUR: A car veered off the road and hurtled down a gorge near Jakhani on the Jammu Srinagar highway, 2 km from here on Sunday, killing four persons and injuring one.
Two of the victims were Vajay Singh Raju and Shakti Singh, sons of former National Conference minister late Prem Nath Raju. Sham Singh, and Hari Bhagat, both residents of Ramban, als0 died on the spot. The injured was identified as Budhi of Ramban.
The car occupants were going to Kathua from Ramban to attend a wedding. The driver failed to negotiate a sharp curve and the car rolled down a 100-ft deep gorge.
